Option #1: Voicemail in Jabber (Windows/Mac) 


How to use voicemail in Jabber

The Voice Messages tab displays your voice messages in an interactive list. When you receive a voice message, you will see indication on the tab and the new voice messages will be displayed in bold. 

    • Select the Play button on the message to listen to the voicemail. 
    • Click the play bar to navigate to any point in the voice message. Use the Pause button to pause playback. 
    • Right click on a voice message to Call Back, Forward, Mark as Read or Unread, or Delete the message.

Option #2: Voicemail Portal


To Access the Voicemail Portal: https://mw-cuc-pub.voip.laglc.net/inbox/  

  • If you are off-site, first connect to VPN or RDS  
  • This portal will not work for common (not assigned to a specific named person) voicemail account. For example, an account assigned Jane Smith can access the voicemail portal. An account named Joe Smith would not have portal access. You can access common account voicemail from a phone.  
  • The Web Inbox can only contain one voicemail box. If you have multiple voicemail boxes assigned to you, you will only be able to see one in the portal. 
  • We recommend using Google Chrome, the portal does not work well with Internet Explorer.

Option #3: Accessing voicemail from a telephone 


Call Cisco Unity Connection 

  • From your desk phone: press the Messages button on your phone or dial x7676.
  • From outside the organization: dial 323-993-7676.
  • If you are calling from another phone within your organization or from outside the organization, press * when Cisco Unity Connection answers. 
  • If prompted, enter your Connection ID (your 4-digit extension number), and press #. 
  • Enter your Personal Identification Number (PIN), and press #. Your initial PIN is 12345.
